Guessing Tales books can be read in any order, although with some overlap of character and incident, you’ll get a deeper reading experience by reading them all.

  • Linked by style and theme
  • Events in Immortal Death follow directly into one character’s backstory in Witch Blade

Eyes of the Jaguar (Guessing Tales #1)

  • A stand alone story with no prior knowledge required.
  • Characters and events also appear in Restless: A Tale of Demonic Possession.
  • Events at the end of this novella carry on to the subplot in Witch Blade, told from a different character’s perspective.

Restless: A Tale of Demonic Possession (Guessing Tales #2)

  • A stand alone story with no prior knowledge required.
  • Characters and events also appear in Eyes of the Jaguar.
  • Events are referenced and have a slight bearing on a sub-plot in Skin.
  • A small hint of what will later happen to Travis post-story is briefly mentioned in Witch Blade.

Skin (Guessing Tales #3)

  • A stand alone story with no prior knowledge required.
  • Characters do not appear in any current Guessing Tales novels.
  • Events from Restless form the basis of a sub-plot in this book.
  • One small side plot event references a forthcoming novel.

Paranormal: Dark Urban Fantasy Stories (Guessing Tales #4)

  • Stand alone short stories can all be read as individual pieces
  • Alpha explains the origins of the “werewolf” type beasts that appear in other books, particularly Jaguar.
  • The Pastor’s Wife marks the beginning of a new, forthcoming sub-series.
  • Some characters appear in other books in minor ways.

Witch Blade (Guessing Tales #5)

  • Main plot is stand alone
  • Major subplot follows directly from the end of Eye of the Jaguar
  • Minor thread follows the end of Restless
